Fluffy slippers aside, gumboots are set to become one of our most worn-out shoes, as we all get ready for those muddy Sunday walks to the pub for a crisp, roasted stroll through the mountains. autumn leaves.
If you are planning to invest in a new pair of wellies and want a pair that will last for years to come, Hunter’s tall boots have become one of the most popular choices in recent years.
In fact, last year’s demand was so high that several Hunter models exhausted many times.
Well, for 2021, Hunter’s best-selling Balmoral collection, which was first introduced in 1987, is back – albeit with a bit of a makeover.
The Balmoral Hybrid was designed for town and country, making the boots more versatile than ever.
Of course, the name is a nod to the Scottish residence of the Queen, a big fan of Welly herself.
Offering comfort, grip and weather protection on a variety of terrains, the new range is available in two styles, chelsea and and large, for men and women in three different shades: navy, dark olive and black.
Each boot is made from a blend of 100% natural vegan rubber and flexible neoprene backing, which allows for easy movement and, most importantly, comfort. So no more plastic rubbing your heels.
The boots are also 100% waterproof and come with a shock absorbing sole and interchangeable 3mm and 5mm insoles – plus they are finished with a spur for easy removal.
Basically, Hunter has really thought of everything.
