A return to elegant shoes
Stylight has noticed a return to more refined, refined and elegant models, foremost among them the boot with kitten heels. We saw a suede and patented version at Jimmy Choo, a timeless black iteration at Isabel Marant as well as Western-inspired and above-the-knee designs at Khaite.
Likewise, the disco-infused boots seem to be a hit this fall. They come in shiny and metallic hues such as gold and silver and provide much needed fun and good feeling after repetitive locks. They can be worn at night, but we love them mixed and matched with neutrals during the day for a bold statement. Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior and Etro have all embraced the trend this season. At Stylight, consumer interest in silver and gold boots increased 252% from last year.
Playful and daring styles appear

We’ve seen endless bold hues and vibrant colors in the Resort and Spring / Summer 2022 collections, but the trend is starting very early. This fall, shoes are the favorite color department with maximalist color palettes spotted in the collections: pink at Burberry, yellow at Coach 1941 or turquoise at Ermanno Scervino. The second skin boots have a bold style and a daring attitude that customers love more and more. They lengthen the leg and provide a comfortable option for everyday wear – the 50% year-over-year increase in clicks in research for this design at Stylight attests to this.
Ugly shoes are here to stay
